Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the Shop (“Tienda”) from the Home screen and tap “Restaurar compras” (Restore purchases). Use the same Apple ID you bought with. “Remove Ads” and “BEATS ×2” come back on a new device or after reinstalling. BEATS packs are consumable and are not restored: your BEATS balance lives on your iPhone.
I paid for a BEATS pack and it did not arrive, or the purchase is still pending
Open the app again with an internet connection: it re-checks with Apple for purchases that were left unfinished. If the Shop says “Compra pendiente de aprobación” (purchase pending approval), an adult who manages your Apple family account has to approve it; once they do, it is granted automatically. If a few minutes pass and it still has not arrived, write to us with your Apple receipt.
Notes do not land on the beat
Beat Slash adjusts sync by itself for the audio output you use (speaker, wired or Bluetooth) and fine-tunes it while you play. If it still feels off, go to Settings, page OTROS, tap “Calibrar latencia” (Calibrate latency) and follow the test with the same headphones or speaker you play with. Bluetooth headphones add delay: wired headphones or the iPhone speaker usually feel tighter.
POWER does not trigger when I shake the phone
First fill the lime POWER bar, then shake the phone with a firm movement. In Settings, page JUEGO, “AGITAR POWER” lets you pick the sensitivity (Firme, Normal or Sensible) and “Probar agitar” lets you test it. If you prefer not to shake, turn it off (No) and trigger POWER with the on-screen STAR button.
I cannot hear the music or effects
Beat Slash is designed to play sound even when the iPhone’s silent switch is on, so first check the iPhone volume, the “Música” and “Efectos” sliders in Settings, and which Bluetooth device or speaker your iPhone is connected to. If the sound goes silent after an ad, close the app from the app switcher and reopen it; if it keeps happening, write to us.
How are songs unlocked?
You start with 12 songs unlocked, plus the 3 of the first Story concert. After that there are two ways. In Story mode, every concert you clear unlocks 3 songs without spending BEATS (90 in total). The other 148 are unlocked with BEATS in the Shop, “Canciones” tab; you can also buy the Story ones with BEATS if you do not want to wait. You can hear a 24-second preview of any locked song and, with an optional ad, play once the songs that can only be unlocked with BEATS (“Jugar 1 vez”: it counts for your high score and stars, but it does not pay BEATS or unlock the song).
What are BEATS and how do I earn them?
They are the in-game currency. You earn them by finishing songs (more for the first time and for new stars), with the daily gift, the three daily missions, the 27 achievements and by leveling up. In the Shop, “Gratis” tab, you will find the “¿Cómo gano BEATS?” (How do I earn BEATS?) table and an optional ad that gives +40 BEATS (up to 3 a day). There are also optional paid BEATS packs. “BEATS ×2” (one-time purchase) doubles what you earn by playing, but not the BEATS you buy. BEATS only unlock songs and styles: they give no scoring advantage.
What are Pulso and Ensayo?
In the Songs menu, the “Modo” button cycles between Clásico (the usual lanes), Pulso (each lane is a drum piece) and Ensayo (practice a section on a loop at a slower speed, with no high score, no BEATS and no ads).
Ads and consent
Ads between songs only appear when you tap “Continuar” (Continue) on the results screen of a finished song, and never during play. Your first three songs have none; after that there is at most one every three songs and at least 90 seconds between ads. “Remove Ads” removes them. Rewarded ads are optional (green button with a TV icon) and stay available even if you buy “Remove Ads”; they need internet and only give the reward if you watch them in full. If you see “Ahora no hay anuncio. Prueba en un momento” (No ad right now, try again in a moment), try again in a few seconds. Where the law requires it, you can review your choice in Settings, page OTROS, with “Privacidad y anuncios”.
Where is my progress stored?
On your iPhone: there are no accounts and no server. If you delete the app you may lose high scores, BEATS and Story progress (an iPhone backup can restore them). “Remove Ads” and “BEATS ×2” do come back with “Restaurar compras”; BEATS do not.
